CLIENT'S SUMMARY OF POSITION
* Provides and delivers focused reading intervention instruction to students in small groups and one-on-one settings through push-in and pullout for the purpose of improving student outcomes and achievement
* Demonstrate the ability to participate in a collaborative learning environment as well as participate in professional growth activities
* Build positive relationships with students and families in an urban education environment
* Coordinate knowledge of content, of students, and of resources to design a series of learning experiences aligned to instructional outcomes and suitability to groups of students
* Cultivate a learning environment that promotes cultural relevance, diversity of thinking, diversity of learning, and respect for all people (students and adults)
* Create a safe learning environment that is able to establish clear and high expectations for learning
* Ensure instructional decisions are based on analysis of student level data

CLIENT'S REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution
* Valid Pennsylvania Teacher Certification
* Reading Specialist Certification strongly recommended
